Experian is Launching a New Credit Bureau

Experian is building a new credit bureau called Experian Credit Services Australia. The new credit bureau will provide consumer and business credit information services to credit providers such as banks, financial institutions, telecoms and utility companies.

The data we provide enables lenders to assess risk and provide credit more efficiently and consistently. The new credit bureau has been formed in a joint venture with six of Australia’s leading financial institutions.

Setting New Standards

Experian will operate a fully inclusive bureau which means that every authorised credit provider can contract to share and access data, according to legislation. The bureau will provide financial institutions with more choice and deliver better industry pricing, services and solutions to the benefits of all credit providers, businesses and consumers.

New bureaus take time to build and Experian will spend the next several months working with credit granting organisations to establish the bureau.
